OVERVIEW

Sail to the pristine beach that rims Bahia de las Aguilas in a boat with transparent panels that offer unobstructed views of the marine life below. As if the scenery above water weren’t beautiful enough, the boat will also present the wonders underwater. Through the panels in the boat’s hull, you can expect to see an ever-changing parade of colorful fish darting in and out of the coral reefs. You may even spot manatees, which thrive in the crystalline waters as the bay lies within the protected Jaragua National Park. Bahia de las Aguilas translates to Bay of the Eagles, a name that may refer to the sea eagles that feast on the fish there. The area couldn’t be more remote or undeveloped, which is much of its appeal. The captain will pick a spot that will be ideal for you to relax on the beach and within a carpeted tent ideal for glamping.

Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. The color of the water may vary due to the weather conditions such as sun, rain, or any other environmental circumstances, depending on the season of the year. Notice that there are no showers, and no electricity at the beach since it is a secluded and semiprivate location. Water toys and floaties upon availability. Requirements and restrictions: The use of a lifejacket is always mandatory during the boat ride. This tour is recommended for all family members, but minors should be always accompanied by their parents. Guest must be over 18 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. Maximum weight is 260 pounds. Blind and hard of hearing / hearing impaired guests must be accompanied by an assistant, friend, or family member. Take into consideration that there is a certain amount of walking on this excursion. This tour is appropriate for guests who can walk approximately 150 yards with walker and / or cane; nevertheless, guests with folding manual or folding lightweight wheelchair, scooter / electric wheelchair are not eligible to participate in the excursion.
